Meet Kelly
I have always had a passion for art and creating things. I can not remember a time when I was not drawing, sculpting (even if it was play-doh) or photographing something. I could always be found with a sketch book and pencils. My family was extremely supportive of my passion. My dad and my brother would cart me all over town to get pencils and paints, both brothers and my parents were a great encouragement for me.
As a teenager, I knew I had to have some type of creative career. I enrolled in the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth as a Fine Arts major with a minor in English. For the past seven years I've loved servicing Massachusetts and Rhode Island as a makeup artist but my love of photography was re-ignited after working with so many talented photographers in New England. I started to photograph more and more and realized I wanted to share my love of photography with everyone. Then, my world changed forever in January of 2018- I lost my dad. He was my cheerleader, my role model and my hero. As I was going through boxes and boxes of photographs, I realized how important EVERY SINGLE picture I have of him is to me now. I felt compelled to capture more moments like the ones I was holding and share them with all people. Today, I strive to capture people in the moment as they are. I love working with people to create memories they will treasure forever. |
